Demonstrating Understanding of Genre within a Film Pitch
We were trying to achieve an action film for pre-teens. I believe this was fairly successful, as we conformed to the conventions of the genre, but it was still an original idea.
If we were to do it again, we would create and explain more enigma codes, to make the audience think, and to entice them in, as the rest of the class noticed the absence of enigma codes.
The general response was that we needed to improve our enigma codes, however our conventions, marketing, title and cast was met with a very good response, with and average of 7/10 for each.
